It took Spurs ages to stump up a wage packet he agreed on after beingon stupid monye at City.... if they struggled to give him what he wants after he scored plenty for them on loan last season, there's no way we will

I think Adebayor on loan would be an option I could get behind, unlikely though. As I say everytime someone starts looking at Spurs players.
LEVY IS NO MUG
He's not going to just let this guy leave, and he's not coming here for peanuts either. We don't need another Cisse, starts well then can't be bothered.

Adebayor scored 17 Premier League goals last season for Spurs working hard for the team while playing the lone striker role with Van der Vaart his support striker in midfield.
Spurs were impressive enough to buy him for £5m in the summer and he is not on £100k there let alone £200k because Spurs don't pay that.
But the new Tottenham manager don't pick him. He has started 2 out of 14 games so far.
So Adebayor might want a change, Spurs are not playing him despite paying his wages so they might sell, and he loves playing for Harry too.
He is a big strong lad and on the pitch his game is to lead the line, hold the ball up, bring others into play, occupy the centre backs, and run his socks off, and he was Spurs top scorer last season.
Sounds like a player QPR could do with. Probably wont happen but worth a try imo.

In fact a really good bet is that no Tottenham players will come to QPR in January or the summer because they will be too expensive and Spurs leave it all to deadline day too which messes up planning for the season.
But we agree he is a top player which was my main point.
Call him a mercenary sure, but just about all modern players are, so the choice is a mercenary who delivers vs a mercenary who flops.
