We have no leaders on the pitch

I was telling my mum of all people beofre the game that we are having trouble scoring and actually having the mentality to kill off games. She asked if we have a good captain and it struck me, we don't have any leaders on the pitch. She said an Emlyn Hughes type, and I know what she means...

Essentially, we are massively missing the influence on the crowd that Ainsworth has, we are missing a McDonald or a Bardsley or a Wilkins type. Even a Bircham.

It would be good to see Ainswirth on the bench at least...

As well as a striker, I honestly feel we need to sign an experienced leader, someone who other teams might hate but is great for us. Any ideas?

        Was it Ledge today?

The only person out there who could be captain is Ramage. Blimey, times have changed.

Why isn't Mahon in the team?

Yeah about passion, but a leader brings players up and leads by example. Think Beckham vs Greece.... When they scored we were like a bunch of sulky schoolboys for 15 mins. A proper leader would sort that out.

I thought Legs actually havea very good game and won the ball and did alot of the donkey work. He might not be vocal but I thought he showed good effort and lead by example. Pellicori and Helguson are the main problem.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Mahon is the best defensive midfielder at the club.
            They seek him here.................

Mahon is a superb defensive mf. People mock him for his obvious lack of grace, but a player is often best judged by how much he is missed.

I like Legs, but my first choice would be Mahon and Buzz inthe middle at the moment.
