The only answer needed is how come you never see W13EXILE and Clattenberg in the same room ?
"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%? For us that would mean around 29k."
Why not? The phrase "cheeky monkey" is hardly universal. I read that it was actually Ramires who told Mikel, so I would say lost in translation possibly.

or some people have chips on their shoulders so big they are over sensitive to things said by others. The word "monkey" racist? Or how about checking with someone who speaks English to determine if what was said is racist before getting all uppity about it. What next? take gollywogs off our jam jars?

If you were in a foreign country and only understood some words would you pick out one word from a conversation and accuse someone of racism? Because in my mind, you'd have to be incredibly arrogant to do something like that. Either that or a schoolboy, because they pick a word out of context and use it against it's original intent.
No this cannot be defended in any form for me. Absolutely appalling and horrifying.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely don't condone their behaviour, I'm just trying to understand what could've happened. Big match, cracking atmosphere, one Brazillian whispers something into a Nigerian's ear about what the English ref might have called him etc etc. Don't wanna argue about this as I hate those twunts and Mikel in particular!

I've heard Clattenburg may have said "I don't give a monkeys". If it was something like this it's fully possible that Ramires did misintepret the intent, and as English is not his first language it's understandable. When he told Mikel this, it's also understandable that he would be furious, though this doesn't excuse any attempt to get at Clattenburg which appears to be what he is being charged by the FA for.
What is completely unacceptable is that the club must have asked Ramires what he heard, and if they did someone must surely have been able to work out that this was the far more likely scenario.
It's yet another example of Chelsea trying to exact revenge on a referee after he has wronged them by officiating in a defeat for them. With no cause each time. The FA bottled it with their wording, and Chelsea can go on their way no harm done.
