After traveling down a few hundred miles from Rotherham to watch our pathetic effort against Southampton on saturday only to see Mackie, Nelsen and Taarabt put any effort in. It was a pleasant change last night as my best mate who i took down to the Saints game with me took me to watch Rotherham v Wycombe.
He's got a box at Rotherhams new New York Stadium so we got the pre match meal etc. I was really glad he took me cos it was great to see wild thing again. Though i was sat with all the millers fans i had a little celebration inside when Wycombe won and climbed off the bottom of the table. Bruno Andrade played quite well and Wild thing brought himself on with about 20 minutes to go. Another of our old boys Dennis Oli was on the bench too.
The most noticeable thing about the Rotherham v Wycombe game though was the amount of effort each player from both sides put in. Everyone running and closing down. Obviously the premier league class was missing but the effort and desire was there. If only our over paid players would perform like this i thought to myself then we wouldn't be in the sh!te were in. Even wild thing himself at his age put more effort in, in those 20 minutes than our lot did in 90 minutes against Southampton.
Tried to find Wild thing after the match to have a chat with him but sadly couldn't find him :(
