  • Mark Hughes to turn to promotion players

    How interesting!

Winless boss who signed a whole new team in the summer set to recall old sweats such as Derry and Hill for daunting trip to Manchester United
    QPR fan since1987

I get the feeling that this is something the reporter has read on the various boards. Why would Hughes be telling him who he is going to play on Saturday? I can't see him playing the players he has discarded (most of whom did not even make the 25). If he was going to do this, it would have been in a match like Reading or Southampton, not Manchester United.

Jane I still think Clint Hill is better Central back than clueless Anton Ferdindand and Mackie should play upfront with Cisse!

I wonder if he realises his folly of not selecting players like DJ, HH, Luke Young, who I believe could have done a good job for us this season.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

I don't think he realizes anything. He seems to be wandering around with no idea of what he is going to do next, expect by some miracle he is going to turn things around. Why is he still here?

Pure guess work which any of us idiots could come up with and many have! It would not be a surprise to see Derry and Mackie play. All I can say is NO!

Luke Young is not the answer, I´m afraid. He did constantly let players cut inside when he featured.

That would be a hugh mistake. We have the team who are just short on confidence at the moment and judging by the reaction on Saturday, you can see why.

The Southampton fans were fantastic on Saturday even before the kick off of a must win game they were singing for the team and the manager, whilst QPR were fans were saying ****e like half of me hopes we loose today so MH gets sacked.

He'll still play the 1940's 4-4-2 that he's obsessed with so it won't really make a difference who he picks.

I can't remember the last time we played with 2 up front.

Fabio won't be playing as a loan player against his club?
