Dubious Goals Panel say Everton strike was a Leighton Baines own goal
THE PREMIER League's Dubious Goals Panel have ruled that Junior Hoilett’s early strike against Everton at Loftus Road in October was in fact a Leighton Baines own goal.
Not sure how they can say that for any shot that was initially on target as they don't know if it would've gone in or not. Where shots are going nowhere near the goal and deflect in then fine.
Can't see how they an say it wasn't heading for the target. It probably would have been saved, but they cannot be sure.
To me they are the dubious dubious goals panel. Shame on them to stick the knife into the players and club when they are down on their knees.
