no match report just ratings:
cerny 8 - pulled off an excellent double save at the beginning - seeing him play opposite camp really confirmed for me we have the MUCH superior keeper
ramage 6 - solid defensively, poor offensively
borrowdale 6 - slightly worse than ramage but still quite solid
hall 6 - just dont rate him, and not gna cry over his weekly injury
stewart 3 first half - so so embarassing seeing this guy's positioning
stewart 6 second half - much better with gorkss but still inferior to connolly
gorkss 7 - better than aforementioned stewart and hall, could do with a long run in the team
routledge 7 - looked dangerous, always threatening but perhaps lack of a killer ball/cross
taarabt 6.5 - hugely talented, but no end product whatsoever, should have scored in first half
helguson 6 - worked quite hard, but no guile or craft makes him useless without a predator along side him
pellicori 5.5 -pretty much the same as helguson, except one shot in the second half took him ages to get away and was wide of target - should have done better
leigertwood 6- great goal, but still cant pass to save his life (though one awesome cross field rake of pass)
faurling 6- early days but didnt impress much, but unfair to judge him properly yet
buzz 7 - still looking a bit slow, but made things happens so glad to have him back
vine 5 - honestly thought he looked like a sunday league player, but hopefully match fitness will come and hence performances will improve
magilton 4 - centre half choice was abysmal, and dont know why he's not trying to slowly blood faurlin in. also a poor choice to have two big men up front (having said that it really was the lesser of two evils in not picking agymang)
match experience 3
i know its one game, but there's no way we're going to threaten newcastle, west brom, middlesborough, sheff utd, cardiff for the top 6 this year.
another mid table finish at best beckons.
