I'm kinda surprised no one has posted this already so,
- either they have and I've missed it (apologies)
- I was watching a diff game ;-)
The performance / body language of players is obviously an indication when all is not well at a club. Although, with the exception of Adel, Cesar and Nelsen, pretty much all performances were dire on Saturday, it was the manner of Faurlin's performance that stood out for me the most and it was no surprise to me he was subbed at half time. He looked totally shot, as if all the battle and fight had already been knocked out of him. He was running around out of position, opposition players were ghosting past him with little effort etc etc. Worst 45 I've seen from him in a Rangers shirt.
He looked the picture of demoralisation to me. All this behind the scenes talk of how 'angry' the players are and good the spirit is at the camp and how confident they are that we'll get out the situation was completely at odds, pretty much from the off, with the forlorn figure of a dejected Ali Faurlin on Saturday.
