Id like to think we are in safe hands and we would be OK - but I really do think Tony has put everything into us based on us staying in the PL. 90% of our players couldnt care less and would happily sit on the bench / play and put zero effort in just to pick up their wages, which would get us nowhere in the Championship.
Bottom line is, we cannot afford, under any circumstances, to be relegated this year. You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

My feelings are that TF and more importantly Amit have a passion for the club and us fans. I'm not saying they would hang around forever but feel they would at least leave us in a healthy financial state, be it with a Championship or League 1 side.

I remember in an interview with Amit at QPR Player before the season kicked off, he had said that the most important thing is to keep the club debt free and depend more on self financing. He stated that the club have no debts at the moment. So I guess things are taken care of!QPR fan since1987

TF is not wealthy in terms of being able to bank role a premier league club. He may be a multi millionaire, but it takes billionaires nowdays. So, much of the money has come from elsewhere - the salaries, many of which are just daft, are probably eating all of the TV money - we do get parachute payments, but that will only really help if you come back up very fast.

I think we will be ok to be honest. If im honest i feel a lot safer knowing we have fernandes, the mittals and beard in charge, rather than the owners pompey had. Tony has said hes done the accounts and looked at the books and we will be fine if we go down, and im incluned to believe him. Whether thats blind faith or not remains to be seen.Top Scorers 2018/2019

I think our future lies in who is our next manager do we bring in someone to to try to save Prem status or do we plan for next year ,if we opt for someone to go for Prem safty it would be a huge gamble with the clubs future would it be spending good money after bad? we could take the club down with even bigger fiscal problems my heart says go for it my head says ease on the side of caution if we bring in H R and he hits the ground running can anybobody see anymore than 6 points by january if we're lucky .
Last week we had thread on who should be our next manager I said Billy Davis would be worth a close look W12 disagreed even tho he knew nothing about him after saturdays horror show I am now convinced this is the man we should go for ASP give him 6 weeks to get know the squad befor the window opens so he can give some of our proma dona pounces the the chance to move on in the jan window whilst the likes of Cisse and Boswinga have a name and a reputation, that said he will have 6 months to prepair for next season in the Prem or if it's the Championship one of the best managers to get us back up as quick as posLast edited by loftlag; 19-11-2012, 11:47 AM.
