  • If you were Harry..

    would you take the job?

From what everyone is saying we are doomed to relegation as we need at least 10 wins from the remaining 26 or so games, and from where I'm sitting, even if we pick up I can't see us winning more than 8.

Harry wont want another relegation on his CV so why come here?
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

If I was him I would not take it, no. He has a good rep, whatever people may think off him, and taking a club down really isn't what he would want right now.

I am 75% sure he won't be our new manager.

We have some talented players, nucleus of a really good side. I think we're a tasty proposition for a manager.

Our position is bad but in my view not as bad as we found ourselves in last season with the nightmare run in which we managed to get ourselves out of.

If we make the change now then we can still salvage our season, keep Hughes and we are down. If we are grasping at straws this screw up in results is happening at the right time of the season as it gives us time to do something about. If it was Feb/Mar with no transfer window and we were not winning games at the business end of the season then we would be done for but we need to make the change immediately.

Other sides will have bad patches and go on losing streaks, we need to ensure that we are picking up points during those weeks so the gap closes. Wigan were adrift last season then went on a run and stayed up comfortably in the end.

Its not over yet but the future depends now on the decision of TF and if he does act how soon

I think he is on a win win situation. Anything he can do will be regarded as a success. I can't see how we can get any worse and even if we do go down, it won't really be seen as a failure. He is 65, so probably does not have too many more years in front of him. Also from what we have read he needs the money. Not sure if any other premiership team will offer him a job.

Our squad is under performing, but of course I think we are capable of attracting a top manager.
