Chelsea win things with a british spine to the team,with foreign players complimenting the mix, Man utd do the same. We win the championship using the same formula i.e workrate and spirit plus a certain amount of flair. Then we get a new manager and after doing well to keep us up, he decides to offload many of the team who did this and shut out any who stayed on to compete for places.

We need a change in mentality not manager.

dont be scared hughes to drop the new boys, give the british players who are in the squad a chance to start and it might wake them all up.

We have plenty of players who can compete to a good standard of football . Nobody likes to be dropped either and the likes of faulin granero diakite bosingwa phillips etc need a shake up. What im saying is commitment and team spirit will see us out of this mess regardless of manager, I would like to see the younger players and the lads who dont get starts ie hogan derry clint ehmer harriman doherty get given chances even if we lose games they will fight for there chance and the competition will help create a decent side (if we went down we will have a better chance to keep those players also to give us a good start in the championship). my real hope would be that it would scare the big boys into performing and i think that would help matters with both squad moral and commitment from players who are new to the club. On paper if the players we have perfom to the standard they have previously we are a mid table side (not that we look it currently)
