  • Worst ever time as a Rangers fan?

Yesterday has got me thinking and I would like to suggest some memorable ? low points as a Rangers fan. In no particular order
The Milk Cup Final (mint copy of programme anyone?)
Losing to Swindon TWICE in one season -including at home with Macca in goal for them
    Vauxhall Motors
Switching on the radio at the end of parents evening to hear You'll never walk alone ringing out from Molineux
Throwing away a 4 goal lead and being knocked out of Europe
    Oxford away
    Joe Walters
At the moment, yesterday tops the lot. mainly because that did not appear to be a QPR team at all. Lots of us need the little bright spot that a good performance from your team brings -and I mean REAL fans, not the glory hunter fakes that we meet socially and at work. Previously I could genuinely believe that the players cared -like we do. Not so yesterday - a fat pay cheque and off they go leaving the rest of us in dire need of a little positivity.Pass the bottle!

It has got to be up there. At least being relegated to League One we had an awful team and deserved to go down. This team are good players, but couldn't give a flying f**k and their attitude stinks. The top clubs don't give over 30 years olds 4/5 year contracts for a reason, even if they are world class. We must have about 7 or 8 players over 30 who are on contracts of 3-5 years on mega money. We are lumbered with them. The board have to accept some responsibility for that as they are the ones who agree the contracts.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.
