why would he leave Norwich for a likely relegation bound club?

If we go down half our team will jump ship. To name a few, Hoilet, Tarbs, Cesar, Bosingwa, Mbia, Cisse, Diakite & Granero aint guna wanna play 2nd tier football. Im pretty sure their agents will be on the phones sorting their next move the minute we go down (if we do of course!).

He is often on the bench, Yousef. To me this proves how far as a club Norwich have come. I think he is very underated.

Whoever we get has to be committed to a Championship stint.

There's not much pont in bothering about January to be honest, the fvcking genius at the helm last time only needed three quality signings and instead did god know how many pieces of halfassed business - this isn't hindsght, we said so at the time. Well, some of us did....

Point is we still need exactly the same cover that Hughes failed to get (quality, dedicated CB) but you pay top dollar in the window. Whatever happens there will massve restructurng in the summer and that is when Harry can start building a young side. That's why I think January is neither here nor there. Either this lot will get it on and save their careers or they wont be up to it. Might as well give it a real go and start enjoying it, starting Sat.

Have to agree with this. Think, however, that should we manage two wins before the window opens that Harry will then do some business, probably loans. I think he'd like a defensive midfielder of his choice, on whom he can rely, and he'll certainly try to bring in one, possibly two strikers, having said how thin is the squad left him by that assw!pe Hughes.

Hughes just went on a spending spree without really giving any thought to the squad he was putting together.
Now QPR have a collection of misfits on big wages and will need to ship a lot of them on vastly reduced fees...if the players go. My guess is some will want to be paid off like Vine Agyemang Hall and Rowlands or they will see out their contracts.

Hughes could have signed Jelavic, Bassong and Diakite in January and they would probably have done the job of keeping QPR up and Hughes only needed to sign Mbia, Nelsen, Hoilett and a striker along with Green (keeping Kenny as back up or challenger) and perhaps a left back. No need for Zamora Cisse. Park, Granero, Cesar Bosingwa onouha etc.

He could also have signed a few hungry young British players to mix with a few foreign ones. Not xenophobic , but QPR have very few British players who understand the English game or the fans.

The current squad are deservedly record breakers at the bottom of the table. Good on paper crap on grass. Hughes approach bemuses me.

Anyway it is widely reported that the new signings do not have relegation clauses in the contracts. Not exactly going to be a long queue to buy them and pay them the same wages that QPR do. How many of them will sit out their contracts clogging up the squad and wage bill without EPL/Sky cash to pay them. Cannot really expect them to do otherwise if no better offers appear.

Redknapp maybe a Houdini but turning water into wine takes time. Relegation costs big bucks. Staying up costs big bucks. Ugly position to be in.

harry will try to bring in 2 strikers and a CB i hope , no one is going to want to buy any of the above mentioned . i hope he goes for some young strikers not lazy so called super stars looking for one last fat pay packet . why not put in a bid for jordan rhodes , hooper or mackall smith at least what they lack in quality they make up for in effort

Yes and we would all like Messi too. Why would Ben Arfa come to us. In fact why would ANYONE other than a cach in croc or young inexperienced player come to us now??
