I don't agree with Mark Hughes staying here anymore than you do, and yes I welcome any new fans who want to be a part of QPR as we need to grow as a club.
He may or may not be a QPR fan right now, but it's times like this which can give them that soft spot for our club. We have people from over 70 different countries that visit us each month, they are all here to find out more about the club we love.
How did they all become QPR fans, you have to start off somewhere. What I'm saying is give everyone a chance and make the next QPR fan feel welcome, and if you disagree then you don't have to be so rude.
Put yourself in his/her's shoes, would your reply want to make you a QPR fan when you get spoken to like that?
We as fans are going though one of the hardest times, and we're all just having a go at one another.

When we are playing ****e and results aren't going our way, we have a habit of tearing into each other on this forum...which as we all bleed blue and white....we can all get over.
However, if you are new to the mighty Hoops....it may taint people's views of us loveable Rangers boys.....

Disrespect is tell-tale sign of many things and it is very much a personal issue and in this case it has come to the fore in a very public forum. I do not take any offence for he is merely showing and expressing for all to see what is inside of himself. I have nothing against Vblockranger or his views and I wish him well. In a positive light, he helps in the sense that he represents a type of QPR fan that Koreans or others need to be aware of and should try to avoid if possible.
Sorry mate , but you cant just turn up here ,because Park is here, and expect your opinions on our club , to be given the respect of lifelong QPR fans who have followed the Rs up and down the country , through the divisions, over the years. Its just not going to happen.
Saying that you should not have to put up with any borderline racist comments either, but this is an English football club with passionate supporters ,youve decided to come out of the blue and follow , so its not that unexpected that youve experienced it.Rangers,Scooters ,Tunes and Trainers

The bottom line for most Koreans are that we very much respect TF, Mark Hughes as well as the players. We also respect fans like you and vblockranger. Thank you.
PS: Please give those people time to adjust to your country's fan norms and habits--many are just there for the week as a tourists not football fans and are merely taking advantage of the opportunity to see Park play.Last edited by Seoul Man; 19-11-2012, 08:52 PM.

From time to time, I will express what many in Korea may want to express to those in your country through this forum about Ji Sung Park. I have also expressed personal speculations about what I believe is going on in the team. This may be considered controversial but I find it explanatory nonetheless. for all the fans I hope that the problems at QPR is not as bad as my speculations may suggest. Thats fine and i appreciate your opinion on QPR from an outsiders non-fan point of view. I assume there is loads of fans from other teams and countries with an opinion on QPR at the moment, not exactly the media coverage TF wanted though. Anyway, good luck wherever Park ends up next but im hoping he and quite a few others are got rid of soon as possible by the next manager.
What I do not respect is the disrespect that you (and a few others) are showing to the general populace of new fans of QPR, myself included. Yes, some new fans will be transient, perhaps a large percentage of them will lose most of their interest in the club after the player they are rooting for (in this case, Park) leaves the club or retires. You seem to be taking great offense to this fact, and have a dislike for all people who claim to be QPR fans without the permanent, hardcore level of interest that you have for the club. I can understand why you feel this way, but nonetheless it is illogical, closed-minded and a type of bigotry.
Like it or not, QPR is in a period of great change. Its entrance to the premiership has and is attracting new fans to QPR. The influx of players this season also has and is attracting those players' fans to QPR. In fact, I think I am safe in stating that the number and type of fans of QPR have changed so much in the last two seasons that the new fans now outnumber the longstanding supporters by a wide margin. I don't know the actual numbers, of course, but if there were 100 longstanding QPR supporters three seasons ago, there are now 900 more new fans with varying degrees of interest and loyalty to the club. Several hundred of these fans would be fans of Park, and to this particular group you are being very hostile.
I know why. It's because you feel threatened. You feel like you will get drowned in the flood of disingenuous fake fans and that your voice will become buried in them, to the extent that you will become unheard and insignificant. You are afraid and angry. So you make a lot of noise and try to chase people off. You claim that those people are not fans and thus have no right to speak, and that what you say is much more important and has more weight than all of their babble. It is a futile effort, pointless and needless.
Many of these new fans may not be permanent or as loyal to the club as you are, but most of them are not fake fans. If someone truly likes and supports QPR at this very moment, whatever their reasons may be, they are fans and they matter just as much as you do. You may be here 10 years down the road and many of them may not be, more power to you, but that does not give you some special right to belittle and abuse these new fans.
If QPR is able to fight off relegation this season and establish itself successfully in the premiership, this trend will continue. Don't fight the tide. Ride it and enjoy it with everyone else who is happy to cheer with you and support QPR. They may not be with you forever, but with most large sports clubs that is a common occurrence, and QPR is trying to grow into one. Get used to it, otherwise you'll remain unhappy for a long time. Unless, of course, QPR fails this season and gets relegated -- and that is not what you want, is it?

I hope the next team you follow once Park has moved there has fans a bit more accepting than me, thats all i can say with a positive slant to it. You are not a QPR fan and football fans in this country find it very strange that you lot support individuals rather than clubs.
The last time the Premier League was vastly inferior to another league, loads of English people started supporting Lazio (Gazza), Juve (Platt), and Sampdoria (Walker).
