  • I hope Tarbs does not leave in January

One of the reasons I like him is that I have always felt he is not in it for the money. When he has wanted to move. it is because he feels he is too good to be playing at a lower level, let's face it, the guy is a showboater, and he wants to play at the top and show off his skills, but he definitely does not seem greedy for money.

Last season was a disappointment, and it was only during the end that he started to find form. This season he has been one of our best players, but the problem is, most of his colleagues are playing rubbish. If the players around him upped their game, I am sure we'd see the best of Tarbs, he'd get more of the ball, he would have to track back less, he'd have more people to move the ball with. I genuinely do believe that Tarbs likes QPR and is happy here and wants to do well, but I have two fears

    1) Harry comes in, in which case Tarbs will probably go out.
    2) Hughes stays and we continue to do rubbish, and Tarbs agents convince him he is wasting his career at QPR and should move.

This would be a real shame, as I would love to see him be a success in our shirt.

AT seems to want to play football and win thats why you get hissy fits from him when it dont work ,anyone notice at H/T he had to be pulled away by Nelson from having a pop at Troure
Football played the Charlie Ferris way

If there has been a positive from Hughes' reign so far it has been the development of Adel. I don't think any of us would ever have thought Adel would track back, tackle, pass at the right time and even win headers. Just needs to work on his finishing and he could become the player we hope hom to be and the player he thought he was.

Plus he is still only 23

Thing is if Harry comes in and moves him out as long as we stay up would be worth it.
If we go down i think AT will leave anyway, so bottom line AT has been superb, he feels like he's always been ours but QPR is the priority imo....would be sad though

If we are still as inept then, as we are now, there's a good chance we will lose Taarabt in January, and in doing so, we will lose the finest talent to appear in a QPR shirt for at least a generation. The way this lousy season has gone so far, losing Tarbs would be the icing on a particularly rotten cake.

Taarabt was 18-19 when HR shipped him out, Spurs had loads of class midfielders at the time so had no chance of gettin in the side, Harry will see how he's matured and become a great player and it would be stupid for him to leave him out

Tarbs is our best player by a country mile- couldn't blame him for wanting out tbh.

Why would Harry want him to go? Baffling. He could operate the same role that VDV did for Spurs?

Because Harry might be concerned with ego - he thought Tarbs was not good enough to cut it, and let him go, and he might not want to him to stay.

Yep. He is near on the only player than looks like he actualy gives a $hit on the pitch at the moment (bar Nelsen & Mackie on Saturday) and he looks genuinally gutted when we lose. Yet again.

By far & away our best player and who could blame him for wanting out of a sinking ship? I seriously hope things turn around ASAP, hopefully upon the appointment of a new gaffer, and Adel stays for the long haul. I get the feeling he does love Rangers now and wouldnt want to go unless he felt he absolutley needed to to keep his career on track.

Dont agree at all. He didnt, way back when - but Tarbs has come on leaps and bounds sine then and I think Arry would revel in having a player like him at his disposal now.
