  • A few pre-match thoughts

I call on all fans to give Mark Hughes and the boys the best support possible tomorrow, even if we go a goal down. The atmosphere at Loftus Road in recent weeks has been very tense. There is an argument that the players need to somehow give us something to cheer about, but those guys are under immense pressure to perform and if anything I sense that they have been snatching at shots as they seek to get our all important first win.

Many fans are on the back of Mark Hughes. He has not become a bad manager overnight. Many people in the game speak very highly of his managerial skill. Though it has not rubbed off on us yet, you can be sure what will happen if we get shot of him .....He will go and be a success at somewhere like Southampton and will save them over us.

Leave the decisions over our manager to Tony Fernandes. He is not stupid. I am sure that his patience is also being tested to the full also but he must try and make decisions that are best for the good of QPR. Do not drive him away with hatred as we will be the ones that lose out.

As for Redknapp, I notice a number of fans slating him. Who do you think you are ? This is one of the most inspirational managers in English football since Terry Venables and we are saying he is not good enough for QPR. Get a life.

The boys need our total support tomorrow so sing loud and proud and don't come away thinking you could have sang louder.

You are right Will - even so, why does he think that is insulting, even if appplied to MH, which he thought it was. Hmmm!

well it would be insulting to any true inspirational managers if they find themselves compared to Hughes :-)

Well, insulting to his intelligence maybe? Which I can understand, Hughes is not really as charismatic as many other managers I can think of. Of course, he could be inspiring in the dressing room but i'm really having my doubts of late.
