Wouldn't Sir Alex and himself be expecting to play if he came on loan? I like Cerny and never seen Heaton play, so don't think I'm asking for him to play. Just seems weird to come on loan to sit on the bench??

He will get games, we are letting Cerny have his run in goal, then heaton will have his chance etc...

He may as well play in carling cup but I see no reason to drop cerny in the league unless he makes errors in consecutive games

don't think he has come to warm the bench,as he could do that at old trafford

              Not neccessarily.

They have Foster & Kuszczak ahad of him plus Van der Sar when fit again.

just put heaton down to another strange decision by our owners. a back up keeper should be someone you can rely on to throw in if your number 1 gets injured. a 35 year old been there and done that would be ideal. marshall for instance but we werent prepared to pay him more than a grand a week. in their wisdom, we do a short term loan for an unproven, untrusted kid when we already have one which is beyond rational thinking. but i'm getting used to that now.
