its really nothing dramatic yet when you look at our players talents ,that table standing and other mediocre teams , I am 110% we will stay up. they just need our support. we know the unusual circumstances that made us loose or draw some games ( red cards, bad refree decisions, injuries at our pick time etc.. ) our team is not bad , they play good football, they create chances, we will make those chances converted to goals soon.

i would be more than happy! the more the better, we play lot more better away than last year, we just needed little bit of Manu's luck, some deflections some more extra times some penalities

Rock and Roll is right in some of what he says. We do have good players, there are teams poorer than us, don't forget that other than that opening day game no one has outplayed/hammered us. We have played quite well in patches both home and away and our luck can't stay this way for ever. We also have had some dire injuries, particularly in defence and the loss of Johnson has had a massive affect on things - before he got injured, it was clear to see that his role in the team was vital to the way Hughes wanted to play and he hasn't yet solved the loss of AJ. Add to that, we can point to misses in the last 2 games which, had we scored, would have changed the outcomes and that is true of other games as well.
Yes, we are bottom and haven't yet won and there is doom and gloom all around but there are plenty of pointers to suggest things could be different. I remember when the "Barton affair" was going on, some of those that shout loudest on this forum said supporters should support but based on the greatest majority of threads/posts on here lately, that ethic seems to apply only when it suits.
There are positives and negatives in this situation and the focus has been exclusively on the negatives and the bandwagon is rolling along - but this thread seeks to redress the balance a little and I say great credit goes to R&R for trying to shine a light.
I will be right behind the team on Saturday just like every week and I know it's going to be a bumpy ride - I just hope the crowd makes some positive noise in getting behind the team because at the moment, rather than being the 12th man, we are like the monkey on the players' back.

I don't believe the problem lies with the players we have,even leading aside the completely ridiculous decision to only name 3 strikers in our squad,I have faith in our players and feel if properly managed we can still save our season .

But every team has runs where they play badly, and if we're not picking up enough points when we're arguably playing well.. it doesn't bode well for when we ARE outplayed by other teams.

most of that post made me laugh mate...12 points off Champions League made me chuckle and we know we can surclass them and we will made me giggle. I suppose you could say no away wins with Hughes in 15 attempts so far is a bit of an a achievement too, just how you look at it :-)
