We'll dominate the match and should score 3 and defend really well...
        ..
That's until we don't take our 3 clear chances and they eventually score. 1-0 Saints.

At the end of the day, if our luck and form's anything to go by,we will have most the game, create chances we won't score, then concede from their first meaningful attack due to a sloppy error at the back. WE will then batter them for the rest of the game, culminating in a solitary goal and a final score of 1-1, which won't be good enough. MH will say in the interview we did enough to win ghe game in fairness.

We'll win 2-1, Hughes will tell us "our season starts here", Fernandes will hit Twitter hard saying how vindicated he feels now then we wont get another point till Feb.

MH has only managed to lose 4 times at home so far. Saints will be fired up for this one though - if they can't win away to the bottom club then where can they win? Looks a lot like a draw.

If we only play for 45 minutes again, we won't win. Was surprised how slow out the blocks we were against Reading.

Think 2-1 to us, probably won't deserve to win either.

I think we'll lose this one as Saints are together as a team and want it more than us . 2-1 to Southampton

I predict 4-6 goals in the game. Could be 3-1 or 4-2 to either side.

Southampton will play an attacking game, which can leave them exposed at the back for breakaway goals. Taarabt, Cisse and Hoilett if chosen can cause problems.
I would stick with the side that played last week when QPR created some very good chances only for Taarabt & co to spurn them.

A win may not be enough to save Hughes' job in the long term though. Next up are trips to Man U and Sunderland. losses in these games will result in him leaving either pushed or persuaded.
