  • Hughes WON'T be sacked!

As some of you may or may not know, Mark Hughes is from my neck of the woods. I've been reliably informed he's on a massive wage and won't be sacked because of that very reason.

The wage I was told was close to 6m a year.

The cost of sacking Hughes, bringing in Redknapp or another manager and buying players again in January will simply be to much for our owners. The board believe our squad is more than good enough to survive with Mark as manager.

From a personal point of view I suspect if we manage to stay up via another relegation dog fight which looks extremely likely at the moment then the manager change will be made in the summer.

Where's that boo Radley lad when you need him?

On a serious note, I heard he's on huge wages hence why he's not been sacked yet
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

6m is nothing to what the Club will lose if we don't stay up.

He might not be sacked, he could leave by mutual consent or he could resign.

If you have inside info, can you tell us if he will stay or go? Cheers.

No manager these days resigns becasue they are all on great salaries and know if they do shockingly badly they'll get sacked and paid off.... then move to the next job. Nice work if you can get it.

£6m is double what has been reported as his wage previously. That level of pay would make him in the top THREE salaried managers in th PL. If true, I fear twice as much for the club as I did before.

Set him up for sexual harassment and sack him without a pay-off. Hogan can be the complainant, it's about time he started pulling his weight.

he is on nothing like that much. Utter rubbish. Oh wait, you know this from a mystery source because you and mark are both from Wales.

Not only that, but clubs do not have to pay up contract values as is commonly believed. We will have contractual protection based on target failure and reach a compromise agreement.

Most ridiculous post I have ever seen on here.

Might not be on that much himself but add on his backroom staff and bet the OP isn't far off. Also need to remember that's for one year he probably has at least two years left on his contract, so 12million to sack them plus the new teams wages plus transfer, which if its Rednapp will be huge. He is not going any where which in my opinion is not a bad thing, it will turn we are not playing badely and it all evens out in the end.

My own view is MH is out within the next few days unless we thrash the saints, which seems unlikely. If we somehow just about manage to beat Southampton with a deflected goal off Bobby "ibrahimovic" Zamoras foot then I think he will still be shown the door. Mate told me William Hill have stopped taking bets on Arry being our next manager.
