Yeah but which one ? only 9 years old for the 76, so it didn't mean too much to me at the time BUT fully enjoyed giving it to the Chelscum fans we knew for the following times
"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

I remember sitting in the away end for this game midweek with about 500 other Rangers. We had that Pony italian upfront, Pelicori I think, who had one pace which looked like he was running backwards. We got away on the break and everyone was shouting take it to the corner but no he heads at goal looses the ball and they equalised then ref blew up. What a knobber!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Outside all the gobby WBA chavs were all over the alley fench on the way out larging it up. Felt like a trip home from Newcastle rather then the Midlands

The play-off final and following years promotion under Holloway comes a close second. The edge was taken off winning the Championship two seasons ago by the Faurlin saga and Flabio's antics and wasn't a patch on the FA Cup semi final in 1981 as the club, players and fans were very much 'as one' in those days
That was the era for me too, it's when I first started supporting the club! The early 90's were good too and of course our promotion winning season a couple of years back!

Agree 100% with above , chucked in with the Milk Cup run ( minus final) , our dominance over chelsea, fulham in their rightful place ie lower league in front of their 6000 real fans, brilliant Casual/Mod fashions , terraces , and Acid House coming just round the corner ...... oh happy days
