Got to be 1980 through to 1986, we went from Div 2 obscurity to F A Cup Finalists, Div 2 Champions, London's Top Club in Div 1 and into the UEFA Cup, great times. 75/76 was great but I was too young at the time to fully appreciate just what it all meant. The play-off final and following years promotion under Holloway comes a close second. The edge was taken off winning the Championship two seasons ago by the Faurlin saga and Flabio's antics and wasn't a patch on the FA Cup semi final in 1981 as the club, players and fans were very much 'as one' in those days22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!
