Nah, this never happens at QPR, he will come in and play brilliantly and save our season.
Well he's reportedly on £200k+ / week in China, which he won't get anywhere near to playing for QPR, so if he did sign your theory about being motivated by money pretty much goes out the window.

We can't afford to be experimenting with young players trying to prove themselves, who, by what your suggesting have probably never played in the prem, let alone been proven. Add to that the fact lower league temas expect silly transfer fees for any striker making a name for themsleves in the lower leagues, such as Jordan Rhodes.... has he done much in the Championship since he moved, let alone top flight football?

there are countless examples ove rthe years of hyped strikers whop cant cut it in the top flight playing against better quality defenders. Maybe 1 in 10 are a success, if that.... i wouldn't want to pay a stupid fee for a pplayer who quite likely won't hack it and we'd get relegated.

My thinking is Del we should buy with an eye to bouncing back....what if Le sulk don't score the goals or gets injured, and we go down....money will have to be spent again to bring in a striker' oh and if he takes a 50% paycut he is still too much money, this man and his brothers are the ultimate money grabbers, ....they are only interested in money

Well he is in town, he was in same Eurostar coach with his wife that arrived just after 6pm yesterday. Hindsight being great I wish I spoke to him but decided on not bothering him. So this may not just be another rumour with no foundation.

Anelka is another lazy player who when the going gets tough will hide - we are in a battle and need fighters who care

He is one of those players that gets a lazy tag, yet is pure quality, same as Berbatov. when it comes to scoring goals there are few better in recent years, hence they have both been top scorer in the last few years even without playing week in week out.
