  • Be honest, who else is worried?

And I mean really worried about the club.

There have been rumors flying around for a while that Amit is leaving.

We have an enormous wage bill and have signed a number of players on lengthy contracts with little or no resale value.

    We have a poor manager.

I'm also very very worried about the relationship the club and our manager has with football agents.

Things need to change, theres still time.

I know the club reads this site and I hope your all forgive me for not wanting to elaborate to much but I really think it's time we started to question how the club is being run and our transfer policy.

In particular the role of one particular agent the club appears to be using constantly.

I think Tony Fernandes is a good guy but in my opinion he's listening to the wrong people.

We have been here before with Chris Wright.

Hughes has to go, Fernandes has to listen before it's to late.

I k ow its a case of change the tune. But I'm extremely worried while Mark Hughes is here, as far as I'm concernd we're going down if he stays
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

i worry about the fact that TF seems to know nothing about the football world and instead relies on advice from people he employs and their agents.

There is still time to change it, we must be more vocal though.

I for one do not believe that the board have been completely honest with relation to the structure of the club at the moment.

          I hope I'm wrong.

Tony is an accountant and would have weighed up all sorts of possibilities. He's going to make mistakes but I'm sure he'll learn quickly from them.

There are plenty of people around who want to buy English football clubs, especially one that's based in west London. If Amit leaves, which I really hope he doesn't, there'll be someone who'll buy into us.

Chris Wright had neither contacts nor the money to take us further. Tony knows a lot of people and investors. English football in the far east is a massively popular product and I'm convinced he can secure the right sort of investment if needed. When I see his reactions at games it tells me is is genuinely passionate about this project. Who wouldn't want to own a football club and develop it into something successful?

We've got the right owners and the right board. I haven't doubts about our future. I trust these guys and am sure they want to make a success of it.

He doesn't need to know too much about the football world. He employs people like Hughes and Rigg to do that for him. His job is to provide leadership and direction, and for others, using their skills, to get us from A to B.

Yer but my point is he has had to rely heavily on advice from Hughes who has is own best interests more at heart than the club. Hughes himself is not going to advise TF that the manager is not going to turn it round and that things in the dressing room is not looking good. Conflict of interests surely as is we seem to be getting a lot of players in from the same agent who happens to be Hughes's agent too.

Whatever else Hughes may be, I think he's a man of integrity. I've never heard anything about him being a bit dodgy. I think TF can see with his own eyes that we've got problems and I wouldn't be surprised if some players are feeding him with information.

Surely TF would suss out anything dodgy about Hughes's agent though?

Nothing to do with Hughes being dodgy, more to do with him having the 'Audrey Harrison Syndrome' it's easy telling everyone how good you are, but when you are lying flat on your back AGAIN someone in charge needs to call time on your public humiliation
"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

Clubs who get 18k attendances cannot afford to pay the wages we are lumping out, you don't need to be a qualified accountant to work that out.

At the moment Fernandes' loyalty is laudable, but if we don't win two of the next three, this loyalty will become laughable. I worry that a win over Southampton will grant Hughes a stay of execution that may well cost us dearly in the long run, if we cant put a run of results together. He had the balls to sack Warnock in the nick of time, but will his pride allow him to pull the trigger before we reach the point of no return?

An extra 22,000 seats would bring in around 16 million extra revenue a season. TV and sponsorship revenue is to rise to just under 100 million a seasons from next year. Up 40 million from this year. We don't need a new ground to compete in this modern premier league. Tony is looking at this for the long term as it would take at least 10 years to pay off a new stadium. It is by no means vital to make this club profitable. We still havnt seen the accounts with a full years prem money yet!!
