I may have believed it if Paladini was still at the club as Harry loves brown envelopes and tax free options !

Look at the signings to start with.

You know QPR fans are not stupid and in general we are pretty good, no ones got on MH back and in the ground people are supportive but the fact is it's a result business and this guys is not getting them.

He needs to move on and move on now.
So lets get this straight he has spent millions and his signings are to blame and unless I am mistaken that's all you have stated.

So exactly how is Rednapp going to change it with the same players, he is not exactly known as a great tactician ask the fans of his previous clubs. It was not that long ago many on here were slaughtering him because he brought players we wanted for Spurs then left them in the reserves. He has a record of spending millions and all his years in football had won one FA Cup.

There is also no way Fernandes will spend upwards of 10-15 million in January which is the least Rednapp would demand. That would be on top of several million needed to pay off Hughes and his back room staff.

Do you think he would keep us up hammer with the players we have, if we let him wheel and deal with some defenders?

I remember Funky from those far off days down the Swakeley with Declan and Bazza, and while photographic evidence exists of his dubious dalliances with QBP, GP and even Fat Raymondo I put him pretty much spot on with his original post.

I wasn't making a direct comparison with United as such, as it was not me who originally quoted the figures, but just to demonstrate how far behind we are even at this early stage of the season.

And for the record, I haven't advocated Harry becoming our next manager. I'm still unsure about that.
Apologies mate thought you was saying get Redknapp in for Hughes. Personally i think rather than blowing all the money it would take to get rid of Hughes and all his staff, Get Harry in and subsedquently back him in the transfer market would be alot better spent on Hughes/Rigg bringing in a LB, CB and a Striker. Just my honest take on it all. We are 2 goals a week short of being a top half team. Need a CB partner for Mbia, A striker who is going to run, stay onside and imporrtantly score, and a Full Back to replace Bosingwa or Traore if he keeps going off injured.

People who say the players dont look interested are talking rubbish IMO. Diakite doesnt stop running, same for Granero and Faurlin. Hoilett and Taarabt are working very well up top, just need a decent striker to play off them

IF, and it's a big IF, Hughes is still here in January, he should recall DJ, get another striker and LB, and move AJ, Dyer and Ephraim out. We are close to having a really good squad, but what worries me is I suspect Hughes is a stubborn man and won't accept the weaknesses in the squad.

Of course a CB or two would be good, but I'd be happy if he sorts out the above first.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Agree totally, DJ gets goals wherever he goes nobody can argue that. Also agree with getting rid of Dyer and Hogan, and also agree about being close to very good squad. I genuinely think Granero Diakite and Faurlin is one of the best midfield 3 weve ever had. If Mbia and Nelsen could stay fit then they are both very good CB, just think we are very weak at Full Back positions thats only real weak point in team but gets highlighted by the fact that we play with no wingers

Except at QPR... which should be pretty relevant.

He may not have had too many chances, granted, but when he played he missed chances i'd lambast my mum for missing.... especially against Utd when he managed to get it over from about 1 foot off the line with the goal gaping......
