  • Can this team win 10 games?

Coz thats what we would need , throw in 3 draws to get to 37 points, we only have 27 games to do this in. Lets face it chaps that is a big ask for this lot. Sorry about all the doom and gloom but its reality!

might as well write off any away wins if Hughes stays.

                We will win - Should

Saints, Villa, WBA, Newcastle, Wigan, Stoke, Norwich, Fulham,

The other points, well they could come from anywhere - Note all the above are at home

I'm struggling to see where we would get 10 wins from to be honest.

I'm still offering odds against us staying up with Hughes in situ.

Because it is not going to happen.

Someones blaaady gotta be - Can I just say again mate, I honestly feel the same regarding Hughes. lose SATURDAY and he has to go.

(Although im still unsure what change will do to us... Still feel confidence is key and we struggle even believe we can win a game)

It pains me to say but I cant see us taking any points of Fulham this season again. They have turned themselves into a decent, solid mid table side everything we are not

                            Away:
                            Reading
                            Southampton
                            Swansea
                            Not with Hughes' away record.

The players are good enough, just need to cut out stupid defensive errors and take the chances they create (easier said than done), but confidence plays a huge part in this and I don't think Hughes inspires confidence.

It happens so often in football that players respond differently to different approaches and that if he was replaced with a more outgoing manager tomorrow, this same squad would be likely to start winning games.

It would be a shame to have to sack him as I do think that managers need time and clubs need stability, but Hughes just seems so dour and this appears to be having a negative effect on the players.
