That's how these things work.... BS posted on message board causes a stir, someone who see's it posts it on twitter, then others say it must be true its doing the rounds on twitter....
I don't buy this for a second. The board may well have sounded out potential candidates, of which i expect HR would be very high on the list, but they won't have "done the deal".
TF have regimently stood by MH and backed him, clearly depserate for a win to kick start our season..... so let's get this straight, he won't sack him after repeated dropped points, but if we beat Southampton he'll then choose to sack him.... Hmmm yeah, bound to be the case.

Of course the chairman is going to publicly back the manager, doing anything else would cause a media frenzy and heap more pressure onto the manager. The fact is Fernandes know's this run can't go on much longer and despite the public backing of Hughes has probably had a contingency plan for some time now, as he did for Warnock at this time last year!

Agreed, the timing seems odd, if it were me making the calls and Harry had agreed to come I would get Hughes out before the Southampton game, but maybe there are other influencing factors that we don't know about. Rather than give people grief for sharing information that they believe to be true in good faith, why not wait and see if Harry gets announced on Monday after the Southampton game!
Just because I have a different opinion to yours by thinking its BS because it doesn't make sense for TF to support him when losing but to the sack him if we beat Saints, that doesn't mean I'm getting agro....

If we fail to win on Saturday, TF is going to find it very hard to defend MH. If we don't win, we'll be 1/3 season in, winless, miles adrift of safety and Man U and Sunderland (midweek) away as the next 2 games. Can't see much return there.
That would be 14 games in. We would also have played 3 promoted sides at homes and failed to beat them.
When HR went to Tottenham (October), they were bottom and with the same players, at least until January and at least he motivated them and results improved.
The players clearly lack confidence and I don't think MH has the ability to pick them up
Can't see him staying, if we don't win on Saturday

Anyone who saw Hughes's post-match interviews on Saturday will agree when I say he looked like a man who knows his time's up. He looked completely drained. He'll know what TF and the board demand from him and deep down he knows he's failed.
With the big money coming online soon, the prestige of owning an EPL club in London and the plans he has, he won't allow Hughes to mess up the project.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

I think the rumour is BS, which has come from another source via Mellow. I've not said anything bad about him at all and have a lot of time for him and his opinions on here.
