Agree with virtually all of that except the bit about the only mistake was buying one striker too few. Sure another striker wd be nice but in fairness he wasn't to know Cisse wd get a divorce and go so badly off form. For me the far bigger omission was the failure to buy a commanding centre back. confidence in a team always starts - or corrodes - from the back.
Didn't know about the divorce, but that explains a lot. I think he only came to the UK because his wife wanted to. Also explains why he is saying that he wants to go back to France next year.
For the record I think think we'll stick with Hughes.
We didn't expect to get anything at Stoke- so nothings changed since Friday really.
I don't want Redknapp.
Why would we expect not to get anything at Stoke?? They are not Barcelona and this is supposed to be a competitive league. These are games where we should expect to have a good chance at getting something.
THE REASON WHY WE WERNT EXPECTED TO GET ANY THING OUT OF THE STOKE GAME
is because hughes tells the team that they are not expected to win away, its been a year now since we won and we wont win again untill hughes is sacked

If not, we may as well throw the towel in now.
Have you not seen our away record?? I don't expect to get anything out of any away game at the moment, let alone Stoke, a team renowned for being physical, which we aren't, good at set pieces, which we aren't and hard to beat, which we aren't. It was a home banker IMO.
Might seem overly negative, but it's just being realistic. A team in our situation needs to work on making our home form decent and then try and pick up what we can away.

So you dont expect anything from an away game against Stoke because our away form with Hughes is so poor you just accept it? Yet you back Hughes to remain as manager? doesnt make sense mate sorry. It is unacceptable to have such a poor away record and even more that fans just accept away defeats from the rest of the seasons games. Hughes has failed but the players i believe can do better under a different manager.

You're a very brave man and respect for passing it on - hope for your sake that this is not a load of bullsh. Not sure I'd pass on something like this unless it was a bit more concrete.
