Not saying sack him tomorrow, but he has already had his "slow start".....if he starts any slower we will be non league by the team he gets going.
You know as well as I do that getting one new player to integrate into a recognised and rehearsed system being operated by a team is entirely different to getting a whole new team to come round to the manager's way of thinking. I agree he has had his "slow start" but with the two windows he's had, he has pretty much changed the make up of the team. I'm no more happy about the situation than anyone else - but if history is anything to go by, the corner may well be turning and it would be the wrong time to sack Hughes and bring in someone else with totally different ideas because the whole thing then has to start again.

I still cannot believe that someone would rather see his own team to 'draw'

I dont care about the situation - as soon as the players hit that pitch its a new game full of new hope.

call me old fashioned or narrow minded but i don't think there has ever been, or ever will, an occasion where i wish my team to not beat the oppo'

I don't care about morals 'cause the world's insane and we're all to blame anyway

Just because we have not got the points on the board yet, to say the team is weaker now than last year is ridiculous.

Perhaps he meant the individuals are better but the team ethic is weaker.

havent seen anything to prove otherwise, some good individual players with a poor manager equals poor team it seems. Worst team in the league? looks that way to me.

Everyone keeps saying we have individuals who don't play as a team.... well if that was the case we wouldn't at times be playing teams off the park with some great interplay, passing and understanding.

IT hasn't happened yet due to various things, i've said before i think a poor pre season set us off on the wrong foot and Swansea did us badly, which led to a bit of a rut... there's also been lots of changes and time to get used to eachother, but fundamentaly for me, we've missed endless sitters and made too many mistakes at the back to cost us goals.

Hughes was a top class striker in his day, one of the very best. It amazes me that he hasn't managed to get our forwards playing better.

Defensively, Bowen has got a lot to answer for. We've got some good defenders that just aren't playing as a unit. You don't need to have players like Moore or Beckenbauer to have a good defence. You need to an organised, well-drilled unit, like the brilliant Arsenal back four of Dixon Winterburn Adams and Keown.

How about telling the players they only get paid if they win?
