  • We need to change now

Ok been a backer of Mark all through this so far, but first and foremost I'm QPR. Not being over dramatic or anything but so far most of my weekends have been spoilt by our results. I've taken motd, football league show, goals on sunday, and the Prem preview show off me sky planner, cause I can't take watching it over and over again. My fear is that we are already done for. If....if we were to beat Southampton next week (which I have zero faith we will do) then is everything suddenly going to be ok? will we transform into Barcelona? No...If a saints defender goes to clear the ball in the 91st min and hits a fellow player in the back and it goes in the net for an Rs win will that suddenly turn us into a winning team...I doubt it.
What I'm getting at is we win against them we then have Man U and Sunderland both away, before a run of games that we have to look at as winnable apart from maybe the toon away.I think we need to have a fresh face and ideas in before these Dec games, if we beat the saints it just buys MH more time......and my fear, a new man less time to save us.
Sorry Mark it's just not working.

    I feel exactly the same.

I even found myself thinking this morning, would I accept defeat against Southampton if it meant that Tony Fernandes would finally give up on Hughes and sack him? I have to say I think I would rather take 0 points against Southampton and Harry Redknapp at Loftus Road next Monday rather than 3 points against Southampton and Hughes to continue!

I have to say, this has to be the lowest point, out of a sea of low points thus far since we came up, I'm not sure I care now what happens to MH, as I seriously doubt a change of manager would make much difference to a club that is definitely down on it's luck, on the field at least.

Exactly Tarbie, I just can't bring myself to wish defeat on our team but I think its best in the long run, those December games are sh*t or bust imo, Villa h ...Wigan a...Fools h....Newky a...toughie...WBA h...Scouser h, I think we have got to get between 10 and 13 points from them, and the way we are performing we'll be lucky to get 3

I've been thinking the same thing, and i've decided I do want us to lose against Southampton IF that means Hughes will get the sack.

The trouble is he sacked Warnock (and a lot of fans complained) and brought in Hughes. That hasn't really worked, so I can understand him being wary about sacking MH, though think now it is necessary.

He has made a mistake appointing Hughes and throwing in his lot with him. As a businessman he should know mistakes happen and you have to bite the bullet, learn from them and move on.
