  • He has to realise it himself.

I've been in the Hughes camp for a while now and supported Tony's decision in having faith in the manager but we have to realise that he has failed here - the sooner he does that the better. Walk away Mark. I think Tony is giving him the Southampton game too but he has to realise himself that he has failed here, and has to go. Sure, he has got a good CV, and he'll probably suceed at another club in the future, but this mission is failed.

You reckon? A manager like MH can survive on his playing CV for a long time.........

        No chance.

Chairman will see what has happened and pass on him when looking for a manager.

If he has it in him will need to drop a division and attempt to rebuild his rep.

Hughes seems to think it's enough just to wear an expensive suit every match. Idiot.

I hope for any clubs sake that you're right.

Put it this way, if you was a Premiership club chairman would you employ Hughes after this shambles...

I would definitely not, but it's a strange game - and if you were a Birmingham fan you would say the same about Alex Mcleish and he was appointed by Villa the same summer he was sacked from Birmingham after their relagation

The way he walked out on Foolham, the disaster that has been his tenure up to now at QPR, means this is the last chance saloon for Mark Hughes as far as being a premiership manager is concerned.
I mean, given what's happened so far, and you were the owner of a premiership football club, would you want him?
Having said that, I wouldn't put our our situation purely down to Mark Hughes, our players must carry some of the burden of blame as well.
I'm a big fan of Adel Taraabt, but if only he had scored before half time yesterday, rather than showboat, we might have got a result at Stroke ****ty.
