explains why hughes should be sacked matty, we have about as much bite upfront, as an 80 year old without their dentures has!
Ridiculous how few goals we have scored considering the midfield talent we have aint it. With people like DIakite Granero Tarbs & Hoilet providing creativity going forward, we should be scoring for fun, especially against sides like Norwich, Reading etc.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
Thats fair enough I agree we cant get any worse and maybe mixing it up abit is needed, but thats 3 CM players there who would you stick on the left?
Faurlin, with Hoilett ordered to be a livewire hovering centre and on the left. Mackie would cover the runs and cutting in down the right also offering defensive workrate.

agree! I think hughes has fu cked up ali Faurlin, not played for ages and looks a yard slow, unfortunately he was in my trio of v poor players. I am a big fan of his but you can't drop the bloke for 3 games and then throw him into a mssive game like that. Again not good management
I still think holliet's best game's have been playing through the middle, keeps cutting in when playing wide so not really a good wideman and I think him and zamora are our best option/only option
Agree with that, junior has been much more effective sitting behind the striker.

* Bosingwa two games in a row playing badly. Dyer played excellent against spurs at that position.
* We looked much stronger with three (Diakite, Granero, Faurlin) in the middle compared to the three previous game were we handed the midfield to the opponents.
* No understanding, confidence and a lack of clinical finishes up front was their for everyone to see
* Wish we had the luxury of having a bag full of clinical finishers in our squad, but MH failed there in only adding three real strikers into the squad, one out of the season already, one only able to play with painkillers, which leaves u only with one fit but out of form striker.
Add to that... MH doesn't take a gamble on youth players.
Only replacement for Cisse would be Mackie for now.
If you have other ideas regarding strikers you are welcome to share them.
Zamora is a Championship striker at best and looks completely uninterested. Wont be long before he falls out completely with the fans as he has done at every other of his clubs
I think we should play our Under 17 side. They would play wanting with a bit of passion, which can't be said about our first team, who are just concerned about picking up their big wages and splashing their cash in fancy restaurants, bars, and shops in central London
I haven't a fking clue which team ought be played. Every permutation ends up pants. Are their any levers left to pull?? On the basis that a team might be less worse than another I'd play yesterday's team with Hill replacing Anton F. I'd also make use of the bench to change things when they're not working. Making only one change- in the 79th min- when things werent working yesterday was the dumbest thing to do.....
I thought Ferdinand played OK against both Stoke and Reading...
Yeah.... He did a great job preventing Walters heading it on from the dead ball for Adam not to score. Against Reading his fine effort preventing Morrison from having two headers before his second hit the bar and Gorkss scored was worthy of commendation. And he had a very solid game against WBA in which he wasn't directly responsible for two of their three goals. I'd hate to see him have a bad game....

I wouldn't blame to defeat yesterday on anton........ And why mention WBA when I clearly said I thought he did OK against Stoke and Reading?
