Just wondered if you think Sparkless will be in charge for when we visit you in December. From our point of view he was possibly the most uncharismatic manager we have ever had - with the possible exceptions of Paul Bracewell and Ian Branfoot.
The fans never really took to him - there were even chants of 'Hughes Out' when he led a team that had just reached a major European final into the bottom three the following Christmas.
Rumour has it a players' revolt led to him changing the system he had installed and then we shot up the league. It could be he was piqued at this which led to his rather sudden and surprising resignation that summer - claiming we lacked ambition which has rather come back to haunt him.
Anyway our chairman described him as a "very strange man" and this does seem to ring true. He is followed about by what has become known as the Welsh Taffia - who seem to be his only friends in football as word on the grapevine is he's a very unpopular man - and they just seem to hang on his coat tails praying for a job each time he is either sacked or resigns.
Our chairman had to pay these chumps off when Sparkless walked out - as they were still under contract and Jol didn't want them which is hardly surprising.
Also, do you feel this fellow Joorachabian has too much influence? I understand our chairman and chief executive were a little bit concerned about his influence in the transfer deals which fortunately we kept to a minimum during the short time Hughes was in charge.
Looking at your squad you will probably stay up despite your appalling results so far. But do you think Fernandes has run out of patience or will he back him come what may?
I understand the tickets for 15 December are selling very quickly because our supporters simply want to go along and batter Hughes - and Zamora who is also a very strange man. Has he started putting his hand to his ear on the rare occasions he scores/ He did that to us all the time. He seemed to hate playing for Fulham even though he ended up winning a couple of England caps for us.
AJ was another strange signing. Good player - but he was hardly ever fit and it's no surpise you've lost him for the season. Rivalries apart I think your club has been turned over by Hughes and his cronies and deserve better.
