In football no wins in 10 in the Premier League is a crisis. But Hughes would say anything to keep him in this job
Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
Christ is this really happening? Hughes has done nothing wrong in this instance. It just shows how the press will make a story out of anything.
1) Bowen goes on Open all R's and tells of a meeting in which the players are asked to be "more demanding of one another"
2) The press immediately brands this a "crisis meeting"
3) Rightly, Hughes dismisses these suggestions as a complete fabrication. Bowen said nothing of the sort- here's the podcast to prove it: http://playbackmedia.co.uk/open-all-rs-archive/
4) The press then run a story saying Hughes believes there's "no crisis". (when everything he said was with reference to the meeting Bowen mentioned!)
5) People on here have a dig at him for it
I suggest anyone swallowing these stories whole first listen to the podcast, then listen to today's presser in which these statement were made. (it's on QPR player)

Says the man who posted a massive image of a sinking ship. Bit embarrassed you swallowed that story hook/line & sinker, Cap'n ?
How did i swallow the story?Last night I posted on here that I had just listened to the podcast thingy for the 1st time and the interview with Mark Bowen was very interesting. So when i saw that Sparky pointed out it was not a crisis meeting, I thought I might lampoon the thread by having a capn of a ship sinking saying crisis what crisis.
Now just to explain this to you in more detail, there is no denying that we are nearly a third of the way through the season so I took the liberty of pretending we are a ship with a 3rd underwater,...withme?
So I also pretended that the capn was Hughes standing at the front looking around and saying what crisis?
They had a meeting we all know that and you're getting your Knickers in a twist as to what people call it?

As important as i'm sure you are, i don't keep an extensive catalogue of everything you've posted on this forum! To anyone who doesn't spend the majority of their time on here, it would have simply appeared that you were posting an image deriding Hughes for what he was claimed to have said in that news article. Which is your right- and i wouldn't have brought it up, had you not suggested i calm down when i simply outlined why the article was a bit disingenuous. Presumably you'd prefer people not be annoyed when the press post spurious stuff about employees of our club?
Clearly you haven't watched the press conference in which Hughes was badgered about this "crisis meeting", as if you had you wouldn't have failed to be a bit frustrated on his behalf too.
[I'm impressed that you put such thought into selecting the image of the ship though, i don't think i can compete with that level of dedication to the cause..]
