It doesn't matter how good your defence is it's hard not to concede if you have no goal threat
Never mind with a shaky a defence like ours .defending from the front is about forwards that worry defenders when they attack and look lke they might score wev'e been cought by defenders and m/fielders scoring aganst us cos we never look like scoring no matter h0w much possetion we have

True- but I think his position would become untenable. TF would need balls of steel to keep him on. I hope Hughes turns it round.

But I know for a fact that if we don't perform in the next couple of games, parts of the fanbase will be bombarding the message boards, twitter, TalkSh*t on the radio and will probably even vent their anger at the game (which hasn't really happened yet) .

Where do you think we would finish with Redknapp and how long do you think he'd be with us?

they problem with hughes for me is as a manager he cannot win away from home and that immediately puts a club under pressure to perform at home at all costs , it leaves no room for error and unfortunately we have not managed to win at home yet either and really that does not bode well for the rest of the season.
even taking into account 2-3 draws away the rest of the season on top of what we have already at most that is 7 points i cannot see us winning all our remaining games at home if we miraculously won 10 of 14 remaining at home and to be honest that is going to be difficult enough that makes a total of 37 points.
i know it is only guesswork but it is more than reasonable to think that is what will happen in fact i think that is being generous hoping to win 10 at home when you consider the sides we must play at home , no game is easy to be honest.

he took southampton down but apparently with us he wd turn us into champions league contenders. he is, it seems, the new messiah... (just not a very handsome or charismatic one)...
