  • Tracking down the redirection / pop ups issue (help the server admin)

    Hi,

I need to speak to someone who uses this forum and has experienced the redirects on both a computer or laptop AND a mobile phone or tablet computer type device, ie an iphone or an ipad.

Hopefully this person can allow me remote access to their computer via some remote helpdesk software for the purposes of confirming or denying a theory I currently have as to whats going on here.

I am subscribing to this thread in order to receive instant email updates when people reply...

    Alan

      This never happened in DOS.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

Not sure that is the solution. For example i have just seen Mark Morrison taking his laptop back to the Apple Store.

If the issue is what I think it is; dns cache poisoning either locally or at isp level causing legitimate requests to be delivered to the wrong end points; then no matter what kind of device you use, windows, mac, ios, linux, android, windows phone yada yada theyre all going to be affected.

I have a feeling that legitimate requests for google adsense advert blocks are being redirected via dns cache poisoning to malicious hosts which are causing page redirects, pop unders/overs etc.

Hence why I would like to talk to someone who is suffering the issue across multiple devices to allow further diagnostics.
