Anyone else think he has been playing like a captain recently? It says alot that he looked the fittest player at the end of the game against Reading. What a player he can become. Just watched the interview on QPR player and I think he is spot on with his analysis.

I've been saying for a while that we should take a gamble & give him back the armband. He seems to be one of the few out there who looks like he actually cares about our club (quite ironic when we look back a season or 2).Minds Are Like Parachutes.

I just watched the interview on Player aswell & you have to respect Adel; he is taken ownership on the performance on the field, he is not blaming the manager, stating that the manager is doing everything right, even right down to predicting what the opposistion will do; but the players are letting him down.
He also mentioned how great TF is (best chairman he has ever worked under).
He admited that he missed his clear chance on goal because he played safe; even when the interviewer mentioned it was a great save & the reading keeper got mom, he still owned up to playing it too safe.
What do we have to lose by giving Tarbs the armband?Minds Are Like Parachutes.

Has matured massively, think it finally dawned on him that he could have easily fallen by the way side & been a "what could have been" kind of player.
By far & away my favourite player. You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

As Matty said above; Adel has come on leaps & bounds recently & is by far a more rounded player than we could ever of hoped for.
The way he timed his run for that chance, by reading what DC was doing, was pure class.Minds Are Like Parachutes.

I can not believe this is the same player from a couple of seasons ago; his attitude is something that needs to be installed into the rest of this team.

Most players who would of missed that chance would of claimed the World Class save took the opportunity away; where as, Adel said everything we have been saying: i.e. Shouldn't of played safe; should of gone to the keepers left; no excuse for missing etc etc..Minds Are Like Parachutes.

Demonstrating a lot of maturity recently which is a good sign. I reckon the armband just might take him to the next level. If I were Hughes I'd be saying to him, 'here's the armband, now go and save this club and my job!'Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Just see the interview, he speaks so passionetley about the club, and you can tell the club now means a lot to him. Fair play to him admitting it was a bad miss, he knows he is much better then that and refused to hide behind the good save remark. Since he came back against WHU he has been the only player with any drive, wants the ball at all times, and always looking to create or take matters in his own hands and shooting whenever there is an oppertunity. IMO by far our best player and some of the more established premiership players in our squad should take a leaf out his book.@chrisrobson9
