  • QPR on the TV

I don't mean football matches, I mean where we've featured in films or programmes. I remember an advert being filmed at a game, and of course the ground was used as a location in The Sweeney and Porridge (portrayed as Leeds Utd!). Anyone remember other times? the four year plan doesn't count!
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

A Weetabix advert was filmed at the ground once. A friend of mine who does a bit of acting was in it and he had to stand up and shout "Referee" to the tune of "Tragedy" by the Bee Gees. It turned out to be one of his best paid jobs, because aside from getting paid for turning up, he got a further £80 every time the ad was shown.

In Citizen Smith I seem to remember one of Wolfies mates was a QPR fan.
