I have got a few good mates who support Watford and went once with them and found it the complete opposite, the Watford crowd wound me up so much by being such pr*** that I left and went down the pub.

Neither do I. I was adding in the total cost. Call it £45 then, for the tickets.

I've been to other non-QPR games - I find it quite relaxing actually. And you can actually try to enjoy the game

Rich stick to your guns,do whats best for you.Your going to get slated as unloyal, judas by some but who cares.Youve gone to games so they cant throw the armchair crap at you.At least you and more importantly your kid get to watch some fb together and the Mrs is happy as your saving cash and time. You still love the Rs thats all that counts.

Don't knock them or tell me I'm not a fan because you'ld be wrong, I just need some time to get my footy head straight

Tbh I feel the same but I am still going to the games giving my full support because I still love the club no matter what is going on!

Thanks GTLeighsr3. I just know I'll be back Tuesday night for Accrington. The guilt of going VR and the hopeful favourable result against Notts Forest will smack me in the face like a wet fish! Here's hoping!

I have offers of gratis prime ST at Blackburn, Preston and Bolton but I drive past them all every week to watch QPR. Mind I am as mad as a march hare according to those that know about these things,

                    Fair play Rich.

As i also live in Watford (S/Oxhey), I know what you mean, and i've been in the same situation.

the though of going to watch watford play makes me feel ill..

i live in south oxhey which is near to the ground and i cant stand the fans, the club or the stadium..

if you go to football matches for goals then its a coin toss. but if u go to games for excitement, passion and all that then stick to your team. regardless if rangers was in conference or lower id be there.. i understand the cost is alot, especially for myself. but id rather save up and go rangers than save pennies and see watford.

To be frank fans of all other clubs annoy me, afterall they have their clubs interests at heart and that doesn't match my feelings.

I won't be paying much attention to their fans though, just chilling watching a game staying stress free for 90 (well 93 minutes) & having a beer with a mate.

Not trying to have a go but despite what you read on here, the football is actually very good all it lacks is the goals. Plus the atmosphere in LR for Blackpool was again good.

not so much that.. but i was taken to see a watford game when i was young as it was on a sunday and we got free tickets..

anyways point is.. after going to qpr hearing the atmosphere of loftus road and then going to a "neutral" match in watford.. there was no comparison.. funnily enough devon white scored an own goal which led to watford losing.. later on during my older teen years i went to see forest vs watford when vialli was in charge.. this time i sat in the watford end opposed to the family stand years before..

sadly there was NO difference.. the game was good tho.. watford lost!

only other times ive been to that dump was for qpr vs watford.

anyways bottom line - watford is cheaper alternative but at a cost for atmosphere and gettin into the feel of the game.. considering you know your team isnt playing.
