I would go 4-4-1-1(beat them with that formation last season up there)
Cesar
Bosingwa Nelsen Hill Traore
Mackie Diakite Faurlin Taarabt
Granero
Cisse
Need to stop their wingplay, so I would use Mackie instead of Hoilett because of his workrate(and the fact that Bosingwa is pretty poor defensivly). Ferdinand is a championship defender at best, Hill will cope better with Stoke's dead balls. Diakite and Faurlin as ballwinners in midfield, allowing Granero to play as a trequartista(probably his best position). Agree that Cisse is not a perfect lone striker, as his hold up play is poor. But with Taarabt and Granero you have players who can put Djib in behind the Stoke backline. Hoilett, impact sub

Seeing all these formations, who's playing the 'number ten' role? Hughes has used Hoilett in that 'role' lately. Most people have got Adel out on the left wing, hardly the so-called classic number ten position is it?Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

32. Shaun Wright-Phillips -
17. Joey Barton -
11. Alejandro Faurlin -

think the above team would have more chance than the current one.

Hate to be so negative (I'm not usually) but none of the above line-ups fill me with any confidence whatsoever. I can't see anything other than a comfortable Stoke victory. Our defending is so atrocious and Stoke will be pumping long balls into our penalty area - can anyone see us coping? Plus what are the chances of one of our psychos (Diakite/Cisse) getting sent off with such a hostile atmosphere and fans calling for a red card with every tackle?
