Make Nelsen permanent Captain

Would also like to see Ali return in some capacity.

As a test, I would like to see Tarbs given the armband for just one game to see what happens.

Nelsen as captain yes.
Work on set pieces is vital too get in a specialist defensive coach if need be.
Cisse has to start whenever available As Le Tissier stated, this is why you always keep your goalscorer on if possible. He is the only likely scorer in the side. the others will chip in with one a few, but he is the only 12-18 goals a season player in the squad.
Hughes has to work harder with the players on tactics and has to learn to be adaptable during games.

Thinner or thicker. there are 6 hoops on this kit already and it would be 8 on the front if they went all the way to the top. 4 or 5 hoops is all the kit needs

also agree that Faulin should be back in a 3 man central midfield to help control the pace of the game and keep possession better

As for Ali, I think he definitely has to get on to the pitch if he is back to full fitness, I'm OK with Diakite starting ahead of him against more physical opposition though! I would have brought Ali in for Diakite for the last 20 minutes or so yesterday assuming that he is fully fit!

in fact so many have under performed ....granero has been excellent, cesar too despite some errors...the saves made outweigh them

make granero captain, recall faurlin to the XI for zamora playing diakate in a more attacking yaya toure like role. send out a search party for kieron dyer and notify scotland yard about the disappearance of our defence

His english is really good for someone who didnt live hear before we signed him. hes our most intelligent player and he already dictates the play.

Midfield should pass the ball faster and upwards.

Granero, Faurlin & Diakete as a 3 man midfield would control games against most teams. Hoilett needs to be moved wide.. He doesnt have the brain to play as a play maker.. Love Mackie for his work rate but his position in the squad needs to be as an impact sub. Bosingwa, worst player we have.. Anyone of the other right backs at the club in place of him would be an improvement!
