theres something seriously wrong with us. cant beat a newly promoted team at home, who were absolutely spent after doing 120mins in the week.
them chances that readng had aswell from set pieces they wasted about 4clear cut headers. stoke cant wait to play us. the worst team you want to play when your defenders cant mark anyone. huth and shawcross could get a brace each.

TF's loyalty and call for stability is admirable and he has to be seen to back the man he brought in.
However, there is also a fine line between loyalty and stupidity and he knows that going down would be a financial disaster
A new manager can't change the squad until January, so I think MH is here until xmas, so let's hope results change because the manager and the players won't

Yet now many fans are accusing our owner (you know, the one who bought you the most expensive squad in our history, whose every arrival had you all drooling) is clueless and knows nothing about football because he refuses to sack the manager in less than a year.

So here's the question, if you were Man U fans wd you have sacked Fergie when he had a terrible first year at Utd? Wd you have sacked Moyes when he went through his really bad spell? Wd you have sacked Curbishley at Charlton because "he had taken the club as far as he could go"? Wd you have sacked rednapp at Spurs because he had under-achieved? I'm just asking if you can name several examples where sacking the manager has brought about instant and sustained improvement? Even Sunderland, where O'Neil looked an inspired appointment, are probably now lower in the table than when he took over. Newcastle is one of the few examples I can see where it has worked - oh, and by the way, Geordie fans accused their owner of being clueless.

        Look at the facts
No wins at all this season
6 wins in total with Hughes since he has arrived in January
No away wins since January when he arrived
No player has been used in all 10 games so far this season as Hughes doesnt know his best 11
Only 1 team has scored less than us this season and only one team has conceded more.
In total Hughes has won 7 of his last 61 away games since he left Blackburn.
At Fulham his win ratio was 28% (11 from 38)

so yes Hughes deserves the sack and is very lucky that for whatever reason TF is backing him. Bottom 3 at Xmas and i would hope TF decides to get rid. We couldnt beat a newly promoted team on Sunday at home that was mostly the same team from their Championship season who also havent had a win this season. In fact we gave them chance after chance to score from free headers and the like the game could have finished 4 -4 . We look hopeless at set pieces whether defending them or attacking with them and i would also question Hughes's business done in the summer transfer window as i think he made some glaring errors. Hughes is a poor manager with a good agent and came along at the right time for TF . We used Hughes's name in the transfer windows to bring in some decent players who lets face it are not playing anywhere near to their potential. Looks like we got him until Xmas at least so all we can do is carry on backing the team and hope that even Hughes cant **** up 3 points against Southampton.

TF knows it will cost a fortune to get rid of Hughes and his gang, maybe he is hoping fan power will force him to quit, but until that happens( and it won't as Hughes will just shug his shoulders and say we are nearly there for ever),looks like a Relagation battle on our hands( again) and Hughes to shug his shoulders when asked about his famous comment at the end of last season.

I still think the the mistake Hughs has made is up front ,I think posters go over the top about the back 4 A F in particular I don't say any of them are great but they are adiquate no more than that ,with the creatativity we have in m/f we should score more than we let in with ease ,Hughs neglected the the front runners to the determent of the ballance of the side and this is what we are stuck with untill january at the earliest that said what can we do sack Hughs who do we bring in to get us scoring goals H R can he do it Imo no as we don't have the goals in the side so what would H do very likely get shot of Adel can we afford that Imo no the other name being mentioned is Raffa remember when he was sacked by L/pool he was 6 years into a 4 year plan .
If we sack Hughs and his staff they will cost money to go,that would probably mean we wont have money to bring in the forwards we need if there is any money to do that we may even have to sell to pay them off or shelve plans to sign Granera on a perm imo we we should stick with what we have got

He'll be a serious contender for manager of the month when he wins the next three games; preparing his speech as we speak....

Part of the problem is that we dont have a balanced squad.

Not quite sure what the excitement is about. Every owner backs the manager - whether they are about to pull the trigger or not.

Hardly going to say Hughes is a waste of space, so I am looking elsewehre is he.

100% sure he has people looking at other options....because come Xmas Hughes will be out unless he changes our fortunes fast.

spot on, he can't come out and say MH has 3, 5 or 10 games.
He has to be seen to back him.
What's in TF's head is another matter

It wasn't Hughes at fault for Gorkss goal or was it him who missed a sitter in front of goal !
But He could have brought Zamora on sooner though.
