  • Row between Zamora and the fan in the Paddock

Anyone else see the argument/row between Zamora when he was warming up around the 25th minute and the old fella sitting in the Paddock?

It went on for a couple of minutes and ended up with a pack of stewards taking the fan out of his seat and down to the concourse despite him looking calm and collected when making his points to the player

Zamora seemed to demanding the fan was removed though he did appear back in his seat for the second half but to me at least its a little worrying that paying punters are no longer allowed to tell players what they think unless they think its worth being thrown out for doing so

I dont know the fan from Adam but as I say he seemed pretty calm and collected when making his points

    Bertie Zamora.

My pal was sitting 2 rows behind. The fella shouted to Zamora 'hope you're gonna put in a proper shift today Bobby & start earning some of that wedge you are being paid' to which Zamora took offence & asked for the fans removal which is a disgrace. He was let back in as my pal said he had a little kid with him.

Not good. Similar thing happened in front of ER with Young last season...but the fan was not removed as far as I can remember - but really not good when players start arguing with fans.

Terrible really no way to treat Ian Wright, SWP was in floods of tears sitting in the paddocks on his own.

Well tbh the bl0ke, IMO, was talking $hit - Zamora puts in a right shift up top every game and does a thankless task. Id be half annoyed n all if somebody in my workplace told me I werent pulling my weight when I clearly am. Think he had every right to have a whinge back. Granted, wantinghim removed from the ground abit OTT - the paying fans pay his wages & he should remember that.

Zamora does look really lazy at times, and he doesn't help himself by occasionally working his nads off showing he can do it when he wants. He comes across as a bit of a baby overall.

Young always worked hard, regardless of whether you rate him or not, so I could understand his frustration. Where is he now, we could do with him!

See what I don't get is the fan asked BZ hope you are going to put a proper shift in... ok? Not hope you are going to score, just work hard. Yet our same fans who might agree with this fella #### off Park and Mackie because and i quote...roughly "Theres more to being a Prem player than just working hard, and what does Park/Mackie offer us other than workrate???"...

That's a good point, but I think giving 100% is a minimum requirement, and especially Mackie lifts the team and the crowd with his extra effort and enthusiasm. Zamora is the opposite at times.

Look i have to say something here, I was sitting behind. 1st of all the fan started shouting at Bobby about how bobby hates football, to be fair to Zamora he ignored it for a bit but the fan got louder and angrier. So Zamora came over and explained the guy had his facts wrong and that the article the bloke was commenting on he stated he doesnt go home and watch football 24/7. The fan kept shouting at Zamora, Derry and Hill both looked disgusted. The older steward came over, the guy who deals with the disabled fans, to try and calm down the fan. Zamora went up the other end to do some stretching. Then 3 big stewards came out to eject the guy from his seat as he was leaving the paddock Zamora came and and told the stewards to leave it out and let the guy go back to his seat.

While the guy was having a go at him, there was fans singing Zamoras name and telling him to ignore it

                      I was actually there
