Mackie, puts in a shift and I though he could have had a penalty, (but Oliver doesn't award QPR penalties). However, Mackies contrl was often poor and he didnt realy pose much of a threat.
Faurlin should have started or at least replaced Mackie at half time so that QPR could control the midfield. Also, Faurlin Granero and Diakite can all win tackles, with the former two, having the ability to pick out great passes.
I just cannot see why Faurlin is being overlooked by Hughes.

I thought Traore had a decent game today, but is clearly not fully fit. However, he has to play because he is far better than Onuoha or Hill at left back.

Thats cause the ones who despaired at his inclusion were actually at the game!

Other than the above Merry Xmas
Totally agree. Mackie would not start for any other team in premier league .

You may as well blame Joey Barton for todays draw as blame Jamie Mackie..............so who did you want SWP?

Faurlin, and a different shape tbf

Mackie wasn't at his worst but was ineffective at best, and anonymous for the most part.

I have nothing against him, he's a terrific squad player, and a brilliant weapon to bring on against tiring defences.

Have we really played anything else, bar the one game Johnson and Zamora started. Adel and Junior supporting a main striker, with Granero and Faurlin 'holding', and let Diakite be the box to box midfielder he should be.

Not sure we can afford to do much different with only two out and out strikers in the squad.

couldnt see it clearly, would love to know whether it was pen and if the pundits thought so too. oliver did give us 2 free kicks just outside the box in the space of 5mins that were awful dives by hoilett and mackie

penalty would have been generous IMO and the two free kicks were correct decisions, albeit Hoilet went down quite easily from a small push in the back. Mackie did well, and was chopped down.

Mackie's never played up front off a striker who likes to run on to things. Only an idiot of a manager would play him and Cisse up front together. And that same muppet- I guarantee- will play SWP or Park or both at Stoke next week. He hasn't a clue. It's a tragedy.
