  • Jamie Mackie as striker

As Bobby Zamora seems to be unfit, would love Jamie Mackie to partner Cisse upfront. Can do the job imo, but who'll be the right winger? Don't want SWP anymore.

I wouldn't have a problem with Mackie playing up front today but it's unlikely to be in Hughes's thinking. Plenty of cover, if they're all fit, if you don't want SWP. Hoilett, Park, Ephraim, Dyer could all play at right wing.

Mackie can do a job up front. Hoilett on the right.

Park is unfit too, Hoilett and Ephraim are left footed I guess. Dyer? maybe!

I would not be against him up top but I dont think he can play as a lone striker as think he would struggle to hold the ball up. Could see it working in a two

He is mate yes. Does have 2 pretty good feet though tbf, which IMO, all footballers should. Zamora, take note!

I think Mackie and Cisse could be a handful up front today. Mackie, whatever our views on him, can be a very busy player and would be a horrible player to defend against.

If we're going 4-4-2 as usual, these two would be a good bet.
