Have watched the actual video and seems he can play a bit and also seems to know where the back of the net is - HOWEVER it's like comparing chalk and labradors, as he is opening up defences and finding space that just would not exist in league 1 never mind the premier league. I could make a decent video of me playing if it was against my 7 year old daughter and her mates!
spot on Al..we should be looking for someone BETTER than BZ not backup for him.
Lots of people enjoy football games, I'm a big fan myself. Especially the Football Manager series (and Championship Manager before that).
But getting player info from these sources isn't always 100% reliable, the information they get on players is usually from fans of the club and so can be a little biased. Although I believe in the past some managers have been accused of using the FM database to scout players!
I raise a QPR squad. have all our original players with Kim. :(
I not saying this post isn't stupid. I know it is.
But whats so bad about FIFA13 its one of my favorite video game mate !:=):
i understand in South Korea video games are classed as an important social activity and that you have professional players who play their games televised for major money. Over here if you play a lot of FIFA13 etc you are a layabout with too much time on your hands or your a kid. I also think its rather strange to post up videos of players from a video game when discussing their merits in real life. Just strange. Must be a cultural thing...or im just too old and we need an adult section on the MB :-)

Shin-Wook Kim's a good player. Good enough to hack it over here? Who knows?
If he doesn't come to the Premier League he'll definitely end up in Germany. Seems to be a lot of Asian players doing really well in the Bundesliga right now.
Credit to the original poster for enthusiasm and taking it on the chin in good spirit.
My logic for foreign players (which admittedly is not always right) is that if they are of a class that warrants playing in the premier league, they would be here before we know about them (this applies to players outside the major European leagues and Brazil).
Kim is 24 and has never played outside Korea. With the way international scouting works, surely he wold have been signed up if he were good enough? If you look at the three current Korean players in the EPL, they all left Korea at about he ages of 20/21. Furthermore, Kim has represented his national side since 2010; that is surely enough exposure to be noticed by EPL clubs.
While I salute the op's enthusiasm, the club should focus on signing a tried and tested player with not only a proven track record but the right attitude.
Looks can be quite deceiving. For a guy of his stature, he falls to the ground as much as Park. His aerial game is also lackluster. He plays in a 3rd rate league so those goals are flukes compared to a 1st rate league like the Premier League. I watched him in the last World Cup Qualifier against a garbage Iran team and he was garbage.

Long time no see milk my man!
Yea Kim is not upto Premiership level. but I believe everyone has a chance if he makes more effort than usual.

Thing is as we have seen, players who were good in the Championship were not always good enough for the prem which was why when we were promoted we had to clear some of the deadwood. Also buying someone like Bothroyd when he was only really judged on the championship proves the step up is too much.
Now that's here, the Korean league isn't even at our Lg 1 level.
