All the ingredients are there for the smallest following in years what with the teams form, the long trip,at least a day and a half off work let alone the cost and the time of the year its being played

Sunderland away could be a very bad turnout by QPR fans

I was considering doing it but there is no way back that night so will be the first game missed this season.
Its appalling how the fixtures throw up games like this. There should be a rule that long treks are reserved for the weekends and when there do have to be midweek games their against local teams, it cant be that hard to organise

Booked train tickets a while ago (northern rail, after someone mentioned it was much cheaper than my usual 'go to' train sites) along with Travelodge in Sunderland Central approx £70 for both tix and hotel, booking two days off work for the jaunt!
Trying to get to all the away games i didn't last year

This joke is a fixture. We have Arsenal, Spurs, the scum and West Ham in London. Reading and Southampton are not far from London, whilst West Brom and Villa are easy for us to get to.
So what do they do? Give us a team 250 miles away for a night game! Makes no sense!
There will be less than 500 here for this game for sure.
Smallest turn out in recent years was that cup game at Port Vale when Warren Barton was in the side. There were about 50 of us there.
Smallest away turn outs over the years. Old Sunderland ground back in the 80s, plus a game at Newcastle!First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.
