Following the news that we were the HIGHEST spenders on Agent fees in last year will you be making a comment.

I only ask in the interests of balance when you were trumpeting the fact we had spent absolutely nothing on the last reported season and giving the waiter a good old back slap.

Paying good fee's is fine if we get good players and a quality balanced squad.

Whether that's the case or not I don't know.

Also, I'd imagine this is the last piece of news certain people would want to come out in the wake of our slow start and the peasants becoming revolting at the lack of a striker already.

    Over to you Sir........
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

    Dont hold your breath.

The usual suspects seem to dissapear when this sort of stuff comes out.

We paid on average 10k a deal.

If you look at the figures for the total of last season you will see we are not top.

        Derby Spent over a million
Brum spent 3/4s of a million
        Cardiff spent nearly the same
Norwich! spent about half a million
        As did Preston

But dont let facts of what we spent across the whole season get in the way eh?

Some guys don't look at facts, its called being "biased". These guys don't come out of the woodwork when we are winning games, they play on the negativity because we've not won a game.

          They will disappear very soon

Have we really been involved in 38 deals in the past 6 months?

Equates to £760,000 over a year. Considering the quality of players brought in and departed for the sum mentioned, it's excessive and a profligate use of money.

I'll keep my true thoughts and other facts to my own counsel. :very_sad:

              Any contract extensions?

Any new managers and staff coming in?

Any youth players offered professional contracts?

Any players have their contracts changed/paid off to leave the club?

I assume they all had agents working on their behalf.

I'm not agreeing with the amount, as I don't know the individual deals, but it's not just buying players that agents charge for.

For the second half of the season it was

                    16 New Registrations/Transfers
                    1 Updated contract
                    11 Contracts Cancelled
                    3 loans

the first half wasnt as busy but had a lot of loans.

So, on average - rough maths...we spent £420K across the whole season on circa 50 deals

Which equates to, on average, 1 weeks wages per player.

Jack diddly squat and much lower than a shed load of other teams

But, heh, lets forget the facts

Unfair Pete-i will be on here singing the praises of the lads and the manager when we win-and so will loads of other posters.BUT,pointing-out the FACT that so far this CALENDAR year,we have spent the most on agents in the division does not make those points wrong or "biased". We all want the same thing don't we??

We want a striker. Any chance our Sporting Director can oblige? Preferably before 2012?
