Harry's turned the heat up again. This time saying he's had Anough of golf, wants to get back in management, and wants a job in London. Would luv to see this come off. Class manager.

Well, let's not forget this little tidbit for Harry.

Southampton record, 49 games 26.53% win percentage. This includes a spell in the Championship and relegation from the Premier League.

Their overall records are actually pretty similar, with Harry just edging it by a single 1% in the win stakes. If Tony does decide to part company with Sparky, I don't think Harry is going to be quite the step up that many are expecting.

            Good post.

The thing with HR is he's a media darling and they talk him up. They like him because he blabs info, often I'm sure when his chairman would rather he didn't. They have created this myth he's so great when he's not. He's ok, not great.

Martin o neill is the same. No denying he had a great instant impact at sunderland but it then went stale 2nd half of last season and so far this. Spent 23m on 2 players and the team can hardly buy a goal. Fans are already slating him, as do villa fans after he, like HR spanked millions on many average players then never played them.

Speaking of slating managers, Rodgers Liverpool just lost 3-1 to Swansea at Anfield

Public perception is everything in the modern game, half the time people don't watch matches they just take their opinion of players and managers from what they get told.

I'm sure every team in the PL has a group of fans that #### their manager. Ferguson, Wenger, Moyes have even come under fire on numerous occasions. I think I preferred the days when I'd just talk to the odd fan and read A Kick Up The R's! Constant handwringing about our plight is exhausting!

Most relevant statement on the matter.

Just ask Charlton fans if they are now glad they hounded Curbishley out for finishing safe in the prem every year... and it not being good enough for them. where are they now...
