If the QPR board don't wish to out bid other teams like Man City are doing that's down to them, it's not my money, but it still don't mean the club didn't go in for players like people are making out.

QPR are still in the hunt for a player and our player wages are not bad at QPR.

MYU I take issue with you there - its not enough for the club to throw their hands up and say "we tried to buy x but they didn't want to come". It begs the q why they didn't - take your point on wages, but in transfer fees think we have been trying to get a striker on the cheap, or even for nothing. And the result is we are left with nothing.

as for the actual thread contents, if we have bid for Beckford, we arent the only CCC club who have made a good offer, and there is no reason to speculate that he would join us over said other CCC clubs
